Position: Chief Engineer
Duties:
Overall management of the engine department and machinery operations
Monitoring and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary engines, and all onboard mechanical and electrical systems
Planning and overseeing fuel and energy management, including optimization of auxiliary systems
Ensuring compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM codes
Supervising engine room personnel and coordinating maintenance schedules
Maintaining accurate logs and technical documentation
Requirements:
Valid Chief Engineer certificate
Proven experience on transshipment vessels (TSV) or Single Use Lighterage (SUL) operations preferred
Strong knowledge of main and auxiliary engine operations, power management systems, and onboard safety procedures
Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boat (FRB) operations
Excellent leadership and team management skills
