We are currently recruiting an experienced and competent Chief Engineer to join our container vessel fleet. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of leadership, technical knowledge, and operational discipline.
Position Details
Rank: Chief Engineer (Container Vessel)
Base Salary: USD 9,200 per month
Seniority Bonus (based on consecutive service in rank, applied monthly):
2 years in rank: +USD 100
3 years in rank: +USD 300
4+ years in rank: +USD 500
Performance Bonus:
Up to USD 750 per month, based on onboard performance and overall contribution.
The final performance bonus amount will be determined and communicated at the end of the contract, following an evaluation.
Responsibilities
As Chief Engineer, you will maintain close communication with the Technical Superintendent (TSI) and be responsible for:
Ensuring the vessel’s technical condition and operational readiness
Planning and overseeing maintenance and repairs
Coordinating supply and procurement activities
Managing schedules and technical deadlines
Supervising contractors and suppliers
Controlling costs and submitting technical reports
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
