For one of our clients, an international FPSO owner and operator, we are currently recruiting Pumpman
This positions will initially be based in South East Asia for the commissioning phase, after which the FPSO will move to West Africa, with 1st oil expected in December 2016.
The pumpman will be responsible for Carry out greasing, maintenance, and other routines as instructed,Execute handling of decanted production effluent water ,Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities Keep all tools, equipment stores etc. related to his duties in good order and to maintain stock records and advise on stock orders as required.
Suitable candidates will have the following background:
· Meet the standard of competence of rating as able seafarer deck STCW code II/4-5 or mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme
· Qualified Pumpman with sound FPSO experience
· 2 years offshore experience or on seagoing tankers
· Fitness Certificate
· vaccination (Yellow fever, hepatitis B)
