But electronic crewing does this job much more efficiently, faster and without presence of crewing manager himself. Crewplanet does it's job 24/7/365. No coffee-breaks, no holidays. Still it is a crewing manager, who takes the final decision, but Crewplanet does the major part of this job.

Organizing data on seafarers Electronic crewing system Crewplanet uses it's own individual mechanism of collecting and processing all data on each seafarer. Publishing vacancies at sea When a vacancy is published on Crewplanet, it becomes visible to hundreds of seafarers. The vacancy is being sent by e-mail to every seafarer, who is interested in specified position and/or vessel type. Moreover our vacancies are accessible in RSS format as well as on partner-sites.

Arranging documents for a contract Electronic crewing system automatically arranges necessary documents for a seafarer: flight documents, letters to immigration authorities, contracts and other documents from templates. This dramatically decreases the time spent on preparing a seafarer for a contract as well as helps to avoid mistakes.

Crewplanet crewing services allow to find a crew member quickly as well as prepare a seafarer for a contract.

Registered employers get an access to the following services online:

publishing own vacancies on Crewplanet and partner sites free of charge
candidate pre-selection and sorting tools

To protect seafarers' sensitive personal data we require all employers to submit scanned copies of licences for employing seafarers. You may do that by sending an attachment by e-mail at support@crewplanet.eu.
